2800m oval. Races up to 1000m straight course; beyond 1000m clockwise round the turn with a 1000m run-in. High-number draws are favoured in 1000m races, but draw is of limited significance over all other distances.

Vaal Turf Track: Turf.
3000m oval. Races up to 1600m straight course; beyond 1600m clockwise round the turn with a 1000m run-in. Has the longest circumference, run-in and straight in SA. Low-number draws slightly favoured in 1800m races, but draw generally of little significance over all other distances.
